Exercise and people in wheelchairs has never been a pairing that has sat comfortably with me. I have always felt odd when I have gone to the gym. Like I have no right to be there at all.
I think that I am a very energetic person who is not afraid to get off my chair and crawl around for a bit of exercise. I have been doing this for many years now. I do 10 laps of my house as well as 0.5km on my exercise bike. I like to exercise in the privacy of my own home as I can exercise when I want and I don't have to rely on anyone to take me to the gym.
Last year I was watching an episode of ‘Push Girls' where they were working out at the gym and I felt that I had as much right to be there as anyone else!
