Turia Pitt Update

15 Jul 2014: About 18 months ago I wrote about how Turia Pitt was burnt savagely in a bushfire while she was in a race. Turia Pitt was in the fight of her life to recover and she has done that and more.

Turia Pitt is now unstoppable. Turia took the race organisers to court and won. Turia is back to racing and competing in many events and she is now also giving back by being a public speaker and talking about body image. Turia also visits third world countries who have burn units to keep their spirits up and give hope.

Turia still needs more operations to reconstruct her nose and other operations that can ease her life. Turia is a mighty inspiration. And Michael has stood by her every step of the way!
