Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

24 Jun 2013I have found a self-defence video on YouTube that you can see here: http.

I think it is wise to know some self defence as you never know when you might come across a ‘crazy'.

It had never entered my mind that there was anything out there that could teach me self defence.

This video shows step by step moves on how to strike the torso, grab an arm, press on pressure points. It also shows how to block a punch and a kick.

Many of us may not be able to use our arms to block or grab because of lack of strength or co-ordination. It is at this point that you may be able to use your footplates to attack their ankles.

Do any of you have stories of self-defence?
