Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

Disabled Dog - Xiong Xiong

17 Mar 2014I think we have all heard the rumours about certain countries not having any cats or dogs because they are used in their cooking… well I have recently found a story where a dog with paralysis was found and they made a wheelchair for Xiong Xiong.

The story can be read at: http://www.echinacities.com/news/Awesomely-Cute-Disabled-Dog-A-Big-Hit-in-Nanchang

I think this dog is sooo cute and I guess being a celebrity will stop Xiong Xiong from being eaten or is it the disability itself that saved Xiong Xiong from the pot? It's not like it would have run away too swiftly to be caught!

Its great to read that a wheelchair was made for Xiong Xiong. My only hope is that all people in China with a disability, who need a wheelchair, have access to one.
