26 Oct 2014: Recently my husband and I have been researching the idea of buying a car and having it converted so that it can take my electric wheelchair.

We have figured out that the best car would be a KIA Grand Carnival. Choosing the car was the easy part.

The more difficult part has been choosing who to do the conversion through.

We have found three companies.

One is a really affordable price but both my husband and I have reservations about where I would be sitting in the car (right up the back) and if an electronic lift is the way to go.

The other two conversion companies are very similar. Their price is double the first one I have mentioned but, have more flexibility in where I can sit (much closer to the front), I also think a easy pull up/down ramp has less mechanical issues.

So, here I am with a wish list for a cheaper conversion that meets my needs.
