RIP Jo Blogs
23 May 2012:
Sadly, today I have to say goodbye to you all……. It has been with great pleasure that I have worked as Jo Blogs for NOVA Employment for the past three years, bringing you up to date disability related news, and letting you into my life, by sharing my own stories with you all.
Due to family commitments, my husband, Todd, and I, are relocating to South Australia. This move, however, will not be a permanent one. We will return back to Sydney, and I will hopefully be welcomed back by NOVA Employment, to once again, continue my blogs.
Todd and I will be driving our way to Adelaide next week, which takes about 17 hours by car, but we will be stopping over halfway, and we will be accompanied by our two dogs, two cats and two geckos, so wish us luck on what we hope to be a fun filled road trip with our crazy, loveable farm.
While I am on my interstate journey, I hope to discover new opportunities and stories to blog about, and if there are any articles that I write that are of interest to NOVA Employment, I may be invited to occasionally have some of my work published on the www.candoability.com.au website, so you can keep up to date with my adventures.
During my time with NOVA Employment, I have met some wonderfully inspiring people, made some great friends and have learnt a lot about the world, and myself. I have also gained so much experience in many different areas, which I hope will help me in any future endeavours I choose to tackle.
In my absence, one of my wonderful colleagues, Martha, will be stepping up to take my place, publishing blogs on the Can Do Ability website, where she will put her own spin on things. Martha will be filling in so you'll be sure to get your weekly dose of disability bulletins, but I will also be contributing to the website as an occasional special guest.
This job has to be the best one that I've ever had, and its mostly because of you, all of my followers, who have stuck by me this whole time, and helped me grow from nothing, to close to an incredible 3,500 followers in three years.
I will miss you all and look forward to catching up again upon my return. Please look after yourselves and each other while I'm gone, and you may see me around on screen or print, so keep your eyes peeled!
