Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

On a wing and a chair - Dave Jacka

23 Apr 2013Dave Jack is an extraordinary man who has beaten great odds to fly a plane despite having a motorbike accident at the age of 19 and becoming a quadriplegic.

You can read his inspiring story here: ' target='_blank'>' target='_blank'>http://www.onawingandachair.org.au/the-around-australia-flight/dave-jacka/' target='_blank'>http://www.onawingandachair.org.au/the-around-australia-flight/dave-jacka/ TARGET=new>' target='_blank'>' target='_blank'>http://www.onawingandachair.org.au/the-around-australia-flight/dave-jacka/' target='_blank'>http://www.onawingandachair.org.au/the-around-australia-flight/dave-jacka/

Dave’s attitude is such an inspiration and shows how a positive mental attitude and hard work can help you fulfill your dreams. What dreams do you have and what steps can you take to reach your goals. Your dreams may not be realised overnight, it may even take years, but in time little, by little you can get there!

So good to be following Dave Jacka's progress. What a nice guy he is.Our organisation has given nearly 50 scholarships to disabled people to learn to fly. We want to increase awareness of our program so more disabled people can follow Dave in reaching for the sky.See wheelieswithwings.com.au.
