Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

Movember Foundation

16 Nov 2014Movember started back in 2003 by 40 men in Melbourne. Movember is now a global phenomenon. Raising money and awareness in the area of men's health!

Movember gets people talking about men's health. Movember focuses on physical health issues, such as, prostrate and testicular cancer as well as mental health issues, such as, depression and anxiety.

Movember helps start conversations that lead to awareness and understanding of what used to be uncomfortable subjects to talk about and hopefully stop the discrimination around mental health issues.

My having this awareness, understanding and hopefully, openness, a proactive approach can occur in saving lives.

I have this awesome friend who has such strong facial hair that throughout Movember, her showcases many different looks. This year he is working on the ‘Tom Selleck' look and also growing chaps!
