Merry Christmas and I'll see you all again in 2014

Thanks for your support and opinions of what has been written on Jo Blogs in 2013.

It has been an interesting year seeking out articles to share with you all as well as comment on.

There have been many inspirational wins by people with disabilities as well as a few negative aspects where you just have to shake your head and think to yourself “When will humankind/the world ever change?”

I guess Jo Blogs intends to show the ‘wins' in order to inspire hope and inspiration. To learn from others that we are no different to the next person. We have as much right to be valued members of society who have a voice and can access the world around us just like anyone else.

We have a right to be seen as beautiful individuals, work if we can, and dream and achieve.

So for 2013, I say ‘Merry Christmas!' and I look forward to more of Jo Blogs in 2014!
