Jetstar bars cerebral palsy woman from flight
4 Jun 2013:
Jetstar strikes again with another big blunder. Check out the following story:

As you know I have recently been on an airplane and I am sure that there may have been one or two passengers that did not understand the crew's safety and emergency instructions. Because they could walk, they were not questioned as to whether they understood or not.
It look as though they made the decision not to let her fly out of fear of having a person with a disability on their flight.
I have only ever travelled with Jetstar once. It was also a bad experience as they wanted to put me in an aisle chair as soon as they took my baggage so my wheelchair could be put with my the luggage. You cannot push an aisle chair yourself as they have small wheels. I was totally reliant on my husband to push me and I was very uncomfortable in this small chair.
I have vowed not to travel with Jetstar again. I like travelling with Virgin who have always treated me well.
