If you're still thinking about what you're going to do on Australia Day – 26th January 2010, then look no further.
The Sydney International Regatta Centre at Penrith Lakes is holding a free day of Australia Day celebrations with fun for the whole family.
It kicks off bright and early at 6am with a fishing comp and is set to conclude at 9:45pm with a massive fireworks display that is said to be one of the biggest displays outside of the Sydney CBD.
Throughout the day, there will sure to be something for everyone. Mark Seymour from the Hunters and Collectors will be performing on the main stage, along with one of Australia's hottest young singers, Cassie Davis.
There will be competitions set up in the ‘Youth Zone' where teens can compete in a Guitar Hero jam and loads of other fun activities.
For the little ones, there will be appearances by Banana's in Pyjamas and other fun kid's characters.
There will be tons of amusement rides available all day throughout the Regatta Centre. You'll be able to compete in some free activities such as fun runs, accompanied Jet Ski rides, fishing, swimming, sailing and canoe rides. There will also be an aquatic stunt show where you'll see huge air, tricks and flips performed by two of the country's most Xtreme water ski teams.
The regatta centre has heaps of free parking and also has disabled parking too, so feel free to bring along your car. There is great wheelchair access and disabled facilities located around the Regatta Centre as well...
