Goodbye

20 Dec 2014: The time has come for me to move on from Jo Blogs and Lets Get Working and let someone else with a new vision take over.

It has been fun working on Jo Blogs for two and a half years and Lets Get Working for three years.

I have learnt many things about myself while researching and writing blogs. Knowing that the world is becoming more aware of disabilities globally is a good thing. Having people with a disability have a voice and a sense of humour is also important.

The one story that has had the most impact on me is: ‘Push Girls'. Push Girls have shown me that a person with a disability has a right to live their life like anyone else. To love and to be loved, to have a family if they wish, to be fit and beautiful, to have choices and careers.
